Colin J A Fernandes

President and Founder

Colin Fernandes founded Pension Analytix in 2008. An experienced Financial Services professional, Mr. Fernandes manages the overall corporate strategy for the firm.

Mr. Fernandes started his career in the Financial Services industry after he graduated with advanced degrees in Mathematics from The University of Kansas and Kansas State University. He held positions in actuarial sciences and was the innovator and developer of global catastrophe accumulation across multiple continents at GE Capital. He then spent 6 years first at American Century Investments as a research analyst for the International Funds and then as the Manager of the Pricing and Analysis Group at JP Morgan Retirement Plan Services where he oversaw the new business acquisition and profitability of the existing book of business and worked on multiple merger and acquisitions to help grow the retirement business. Mr. Fernandes’ most recent stint was with Fidelity Retirement Services where he spent a couple of years leading the Product Strategy for DC and Payroll and subsequent to that an acquisition marketing analytics team in the emerging markets group.

In his spare time he writes extensively on participant issues facing the retirement industry, with an eye toward the behavioral finance aspects of investing for retirement. He continues to participate in multiple consulting engagements for merger and acquisition transactions.


Rohini G Nellore

Client Operations & CRM Strategist

Rohini Nellore has several decades of experience in the strategic use of CRM, information systems, software design and successful implementations. She heads the firm's CRM business product strategy as well as client delivery. has also developed SaaS product strategies for several ISVs.  Rohini has applied her experience in project management, distributed architecture and process re-engineering in designing and overseeing the development and delivery of large scale, enterprise wide software projects at Pension Analytix, Inc. She has broad based experience in enterprise software management, building and managing teams. She has held senior management positions with leading software product and services companies before joining Pension Analytix, Inc.

 

Victor Chin CFA

Strategic Advisor

Victor has 13+ years of finance and marketing strategy experience in financial services, both at Fidelity Investments and PricewaterhouseCoopers. At Fidelity, he worked with both 401(k) and 403(b) plan sponsor clients and prospects to evaluate their retirement plan administration needs. He also worked on business and marketing strategy, creating market segmentation models for Fidelity's retirement plan and HR outsourcing businesses. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and his MBA from Columbia Business School.

 

Larry Renner

Strategic Advisor

Larry Renner is a veteran Financial Services professional with extensive experience in Defined Contribution, Non-Qualified, Defined Benefit, Equity Compensation and Health Savings products. While working for Fidelity Investments he held leadership roles as VP of Product Development, Product Management and Product Strategy. He has excellent experience in the areas of both product and marketing. Early in his career at Fidelity, he was instrumental in designing, developing, launching and managing the first ever online 401k product which targeted small businesses and is sold and serviced almost exclusively online. He was also deeply involved with e-401k business delivered through online channels. Most recently, as Vice President, Product Management & Strategy for Fidelity Investments 401k product offering Larry was involved in the creation of multi-year strategic product roadmaps, product development and program ownership for multiple legal and regulatory initiatives.Prior to his work with Fidelity he worked with enabling technologies for warehouse management solutions and in the development of configuration management systems at GE Aircraft Engines.

 

Ramnath Babu

IT Operations & Infrastructure

Heading the Global Operations for Pension Analytix, Inc, Ram comes with over 18 years of experience in Business Consulting, HR, and Operations, dealing in projects that touch over a Billion users in the Banking sector & International Government agencies.  An Engineering graduate from India Ram’s expertise spans a diverse spectrum of industries including Telecom, Information Technology enabled services, Manufacturing & Business Consulting. He has been instrumental in carrying out a number of critical installations in the telecom & internet infra-structure including commissioning the first set of Internet backbones for an Indian government owned Department of Telecom. He comes with strong project execution capabilities and currently manages multiple off-shore development projects spanning four continents. His strengths include outstanding relationship management with experts from diverse industry verticals.
